🦜 Amazon Rescue Center (CREA)

The Amazon Rescue Center (CREA) is a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center dedicated to the rescue, care, and release of endangered species in the Loreto region.
Its mission is to conserve the region’s ecosystem and protect Amazonian species that are at risk of extinction. Through its conservation, rehabilitation, and environmental education programs, the center actively contributes to the preservation of the Amazon rainforest and its biodiversity.
Each visit lasts approximately 2 hours and offers an inspiring and educational experience for visitors of all ages.
🐬 Aquarium

“El Aquarium del Amazonas” opened on January 29, 2024 and is the first and largest aquarium in the Loreto region.
Visitors can observe nocturnal fish, giant freshwater rays, electric eels, and many other freshwater and marine species from the Amazon basin.
The aquarium is located inside the Amazon Research Center for Ornamental Fishes, offering an educational and fascinating experience for visitors of all ages.

🌺 Allpahuayo Mishana

Just 15 minutes by taxi from our lodge, the Allpahuayo-Mishana National Reserve offers a unique opportunity to explore one of the Amazon’s most special ecosystems.
